RE: Old Proline Crossbow
Your crossbow is probably the hybrid that was produced between the joint venture between Proline and Winchester(as in guns)..All of the real Proline crossbows were camo-wood-laminate, when Winchester signed on they produced a metal crossbow which is now the Darton-Great Lakes crossbow with minor changes..Darton bought Proline mostly because the Proline Mountain bow(compound)was credited with the largest non-typical whitetailkilled with a bow..Proline produced both compound and crossbows marketed under Proline and Winchester brands with minor changes between the lines..
To answer your question, call Great Lakes and ask to speak to their chief engineer, he should be able to answer all of your questions..

RE: Old Proline Crossbow
Tried "Great Lakes"..no help. This is a very compact unit , with a very nice trigger. Never having shot a Xbow and this one being old and used..I stripped off the crank-cocker , the quiver , added a 4X Simmons scope eyeballed the alignment and xbow freind and I went to a hay bale. At 20feet..hit the plate...moved to 15yds...hit the plate...20 yds...hit the plate...moved back to 30 yds..put second line on plate...hit the plate. This weekend will try 40yds line.
still need specs , Its labeled 150# and PROLINE....came with some 20" bolts..has 15" stroke..field points do not extend beyond riser. 64
