How far??
 

I was just wondering how far you can actually shoot an arrow out of an average xbow. I would try it, but if it is more than 250 yards I'm gonna launch one into the river.
Is 250 yards an OK distance to hunt deer or would that be pushing the ethical limit? >>>>>>>>>>>Whack! !

Hey look yuh bunch of knuckleheads...Pistol Xbows are only for the generals in my army. Not every soldier gets one and when the enemy is approaching I want to know when to scream FIRE!!!
I also figured with all the combined "knowledge" in here someone would know the answer to the question. I think they have distance competitions with foot bowsin some countries...
Ok OK ... dumb A$$ question. Like I don't get enough crap from my wife.
PS.. I am working out the details at one of the local eateries for some night time mouse hunting. These are free range mice as in they have free range of the kitchen but the fences are relatively low.
