type of arrows
 
I m new to crossbow hunting and this forum all together, I bought a 150lb crossbow the other day it came with some cheap chinese lookin arrows, where can I find a good quality arrow? And what kind do you recommend?

We would need to know what kind of crossbow you have. That would determine what nock you would need on your arrows. Give us some more info and I'm sure somebody can help you out.

welcome to the forum! some like carbons, others aluminum. One don't bend, the other don't splinter, lol. What's most important is weight and nock type. Most bows have minimum weights and must use one nock type or the other, which are half moon and flat. knowing the brand of bow would help.

I almost hate to say this but the wife heard me say I wanted one and bought it off ebay, is somekind of chinese made one... I think its a singh huh model number 1800.. I know....dont beat me down....but I would like to try it....

the arrows that came with it are aluminum

Sportsmans Guide sells that stuff. Be careful w/ it, there's reasons they are so cheaply priced.

I'd maybe see if you can weigh and/or measure the length of the arrows. Then based on that you might be able to find something that will work with your setup.

That would be my suggestion as well. If you can't weight them yourself bring them into a pro shop and they can do it fo you. Shooting an underweight arrow can damage the bow and/or the shooter.
