Restringing crossbow
 
This will be the second year I have used my ten point crossbow, how often should the string be replaced, it probley has not been shot much over a hundred time but has seen very little wax. Also how often should I wax it, Thanks.

If you only shoot 100 to 200 times a year just wax real good once a year. Check string for wear mostly on serving and when it gets frayed real bad have string reserved. Good to have 2 strings so you can change out and reserve.

I wax my string and silicone the rail after each trip to the range. I also find that when I re-serve a string the serving lasts 3-4x longer than the factory serving.
