RE: My crossbow
looks like it'll do the job!! I like the 6 arrow quiver!!

RE: My crossbow
Looks good! I like that PSE is using what looks like there to be a machined aluminum Rail. Some are really getting into the composite plastic stuff![&o] How long have you had it?
|
RE: My crossbow
I have had this for about 3 1/2 months, and loving it! yes it has a machined aluminum rail
|
RE: My crossbow
Keep posting and keep us updated on it. We have had people come in and ask about the PSE and the parker CB's lately and it is good that you guys are coming in to help out with the needed info.

RE: My crossbow
Not trying to satrt a fight or anyting but this pse seems to be more accurae than my friends excalibur. I will go out this weekend and confirm my results

i like pop corn....

RE: My crossbow
Appears to be a decent looking CB. Accuracy of CB's is really hard to argue of which is better. Off hand shooting its all up to the shooter not the CB. Off the bench is abit more controlled but still the CB can shoot like a million bucks but shooter like a dime! To eliminate the human factor the CB must be locked into a vise, so all shots are exact! Alum. rail is nice, short hand grip instead of full stock may flex at some point. Only time will tell. If yer happy and it shoots well fer you i am happy. :)

RE: My crossbow
Looks like a fine bow to me!

RE: My crossbow
Nice, I am shooting a PSE Copperhead only 150lb. I can't complain one bit about it. I only paid $100 for it from a friend who bought it and never opened the box. I also got the same 3dot scope on it.
I did a little bit of painting on mine though.. ;) |
RE: My crossbow
I was checking out the Copperhead and Rattler when I was looking to buy a CB. I almost bought a PSE Rattler. They seem like nice bows to me.

RE: My crossbow
nice looking rig. i especially like the 6 arrow quiver. really don't like the 4 arrow quiver that i have. that's about the only complaint i have with excal. i like to be able to carry an arrow with a field point with an adder blade, a blunt, and a few broadheads.

Nice paint job.

RE: My crossbow
1st is 20
2nd is 30 3rd is 35 Ialso practice taking 15 yard and 10 yard shots using the top sight. I have the side scope mountadjustment at theNo. 2position and fine tuned it with the scope elevation/windage. I did have the 3rd at 40and was accurate with it, but won't ever take a deer at 40. Too far of a shot and doing the math on my bow speed to sound speed the chance of a deer being wounded from ducking the shot was to high in my opinion. I can wait for him to come closer for me to shoot. |
