welcome Two Guns! I just bought my first CB this year. It is a Horton Realtree HD175.Accurate.I love it...had a little trouble with the scope that came with it. But they (Horton) straighened it out right away for me! I can't wait till season opens here (oct. 1st). My sister and brother in law just bought a new place. Looks like there's some good hunting out there. I may put up a blind. There's a pine treeline with a creek behind it with all kinds of deer tracks. One big tree leans out right over the creek! Maybe a stand too!

The problem I'm having is I bought the special crossbow target and with my Stryker I can't pull the arrows out. I'm forced to use a rubber thing my wife uses to open jars while sitting on the floor/ground, wrap it and my hands (two) around the arrow, put both feet on the target and pull with all my might. There is no way in this lifetime I can see shooting this target a lot. It's interfering in my practicing. Is there a special type of pliers for this job? These arrows bury themselves at 20 yards. I have to turn the target around and shoot a few more and bring it back home to remove them. This is instantly no fun.

Any help? [&o]

I have seen an arrow puller at Bass Pro Shop. It kind of looks like a pair of pliers with a lopped end. Also what target are you using? Try using the search on here to find some similiar posts on targets. I know they are here. I have one from Morrell that does good. I can pull them out with one hand usually but it does take two at times.

Gimphunter, your CB arrowspeed makes it penetrate deeper than the now made targets can stop. When i say stop i talking about easy removing using one hand. You are using a stryker correct?

I know what your are going threw, I HAVE BEEN THERE TOO !!! . I have friends that made the mistake ( & me too ) and bought different targets for their bows. And like you, had removeal problems. Makes you wish you would have never started shooting them ~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~ BUT, there is a answer to your problem, the same answer they got and listened. Get a Morrell




YELLOW JACKET F/P CROSSBOWtarget . You will stop all your arrows, and can remove them with two fingers. My wife & kids even go get 'em for me. Tuff, and trouble free. Don't make your life & hobby miserable. Get one of these targets and wave your troubles goodbye. Best investment I have made since my 200lb Horton was purchased !!!! And theanother good thing about it, they are cheaper in price than some of the most targets on the market ..........

Yea, Deer Park is some good fishin'
Another spot to check out, a few miles from Ferriday, Louisiana is Lake St. John & Lake Concordia. All arouond fishing, all year long. Make 'em take you there next time. Beautiful lakes, friendly folks, great fishing !!!!

You'll get tired of catchin' 'em ~~~~
