Crossbow for a newbie
Wondering what you'd recommend for a first bow? I usually go midrange in price.

I say go for any Excal or Ten Point. The best thing about the Excal is that is a simple bow that works. The best part about the 10 Point is that you have Randy. You're allowed to break his things if you have a problem. :D |

Very user friendly, great accuracy, great draw mechanism and great safety features. After that you get me!;) Randy |

Barnett revolution xs works great for me and is about $400 to 500. Took two does last season with it. You can pay more but this is a fine crossbow. No trouble whatsoever with mine.
