New to Crossbow hunting
 

Well, I did it. Just ordered the Excalibur Vortex. I have always been a gun hunter but with the archery season in Tennessee starting 2 months before gun season, I could'nt stand thinking about using that much of the season just waitin' around, walkin' around, etc.

Hope you guys will be patient with a novice Xbow guy and answer what will be "rookie" questions.

I am relatively new myself and have asked many "newbie" questions. Just about everyone here will do all they can to answer your questions. One thing that did and still does come in handy for me is to search the forums for a specific topic. A lot of the time I can find previous posts that answers my questions. When I cant I ask on here and someone answers it pretty quickly.
