Use an ASD on your insert that receives your broadhead and spin test them all. Start with one of these - Slick Tricks, G5 Strikers, Magnus four blade Stingers. The all fly really well for me. My Block and Block 4X4 stops all of my broadheads well before the fletchings. If you want to shoot into something that does not dull your broadheads then shoot into water because there is nothing that will stop your broadheads without dulling them. Good luck. |
RE: accuracy
i heard mechanicals shoot the same as your ft is this true? and i was wondering when i put the broadheads on should i aline the blades with the fletching? thanks

RE: accuracy
I'm convinced [and so are others] aligning blades w/ vanes is an old wives tale. 1st off, w/ carbons you can't, unless you are building them. There a a gazillion bheads to pick from, my choice is Slick Tricks,I quit wasting $ when I tried them. I don't care for mechanicals, but many others do.

RE: accuracy
I want to get me one of them thar water targets that DNK was talking about shooting into. Now do you use hard water for the target or just regular spring water. I got some water mellons, will they work? Or water boloons? I know, cotton mouthed water mockisons. Oh, never mind, I'm going back to sleep. LOL

RE: accuracy
Salt water is best, because its heavier and thicker than fresh water ya knowed what i mean vern![:-]

RE: accuracy
something is heavy and thick but I don't think it's the water....How do you tune a crossbow??? I can tuna compound but I can't tuna fish....

RE: accuracy
I heard salt water also keeps your blades sharp,,,,kinda like a wet stone..
|
RE: accuracy
Well actually its the fine grained sand in the salt water, it really does the blade sharpening![:o][:-]:D

RE: accuracy
I hit a grain of sand once, but to be honest, it wasn't the one I was aiming for.:D:D
