RE: JO JAN JIG
Yep,go to their web site,or Keystone,Bass Pro,etc has them,the insert
for the crossbow arrows is 12.00 but I saw a post on another web site where you could take old time pencil erasers and notch them and it works slicker then wow!I have used this ol JoJann for a lot of years and still does the job.A little hint take wax and rub it along the edge of the clamp, and that way the glue will not stick to it,good luck!:D |

RE: JO JAN JIG
shewe: if you are asking about the pencil eraser, itwas on xbow forum on AT about 6 months ago. Just a slip on eraser for a pencil w/ a notch cut into the chisel end length ways. |
RE: JO JAN JIG
I fletched up a half dozen bolts this evening using the eraser trick. Worked fairly well, but the reciever aperture just isn't big enough to get the eraser deep enough into my Bitz. Better than trying to work by eyeball though, which was what I was doing before.
I need to dig out my old BPE jig and see if it'd be a better fit. Thanks for the tip, guys! |

RE: JO JAN JIG
ah....i finally broke down and bought the crossbow bolt adapter for my bitz but i don't like it. tough to get the same distance from the end of the arrow to be consistant on all arrows. i think i'll go back to using an arrow nock that i can push inside each arrow to index it. so all fletching is the same distance from the end of the arrow.:)
