RE: excalibur exomax for sale

Why are you selling? I remember you bought that after you had the not so tight string on the rail problem with your Horton. Are you still going to continue hunting?

Sounds like opportunity knocking Chris!! You would be saving 100 to 150 bucks right there and have a full warranty!

RE: excalibur exomax for sale

It's getting late and I have had the wife get up and give me at least three good dirty looks already! I need to go to bed!! LOL!! If the guy is set up with Ebay and can do pay-pal I would say that is the safest route to go. Next step for me would be a cashiers check from your bank. Cashiers checks are a safe way to go IMO. He is sure it will not bounce, you don't have your check numbers floating around, and if a seller cashes and you get nothing it is easy to track his personal info down and start to track it down. But hey, I should feel bad for saying any of this in my first post and this one. I am acting paranoid and I am not even buying the thing. Poor guy is probably good for it and I am giving advice on how to not get screwed! LOL!! Sorry OKODOKA!

wow....hotburn you have a great memory cause that was me that had the horton and the string wasnt tight on the rail.......to be honest i am selling the excalibur to try and get enough money together to pay for a hunting club membership i am a part of in illinois.....i still have my regular compound so i will be using it more this year if i can sell the excalibur....i enjoy hunting with the compound and the crossbow both.....anyway,the crosbow is in great shape and is in the original box it came in along with the scope.

Another option on a large sale is to use a middleman that both parties trust, once he gets both the item and money the deal is done and off it goes again, the shipping could escalate a bit though.

Well I would be lying if I said it was all memory. I remembered you bought it last year. The rest came from clicking on your user name and reading some of your past post.:D

I've bought and sold stuff from guys on the forums w/ no problems. If the seller has been around for awhile, just relax and make a deal. Anything I've sold I described as accurate as I could and offered to refund the payment if item wasn't what I said it was, never had a taker return anything. Had one glitch on a scope sale to Canada and the buyer sent duplicate payment. Two months later, original showed up. Notice this doesn't apply to Ebay, lol. I have an Emax I couldn't give away a few months ago, it was my 1st Excal. I put a L-zone on it for bear, huge hogs, lol, and am keeping it. Emax guys need to watch and make sure your state doesn't have a 200 lb limit, stupid as that is, it's still the law in Pa and Oh that I know of. Mine sits and watches me shoot my phoenix alot, lol.

Dan,

You can add Connecticut to that list. 200lb max and a 450g min on the arrow.

HH: thanks for the info. Boy, that double sucks! I'm kinda understanding the 200# limit, although it makes no sense, but where did they come up w/ 450 gr arrows and for what possible reason? Glad I don't have to deal w/ that crap and sorry for those that do! Hmmmm......... My beloved 431 gr GT Lii's [Millers Killers] w/ 125 gr Slicks oughta squeak in there, lol. 456gr I think. Would only cost 5 fps and go another 20 yds past the deer, lol.

Sometimes you just got to wonder where they come up with some of this stuff. The Beaman Thunderbolts tipped with 125g slick tricks gets me just over the 450g min. I love hunting in Connecticut as it gets me in the woods on September 15th as opposed to my home state of Massachusetts which starts on October 15th. After four back operations I find it much more enjoyable to hunt in the warmer weather.
