What makes a bow better for you or shall I ask, what do you want in a crossbow? If you answer those questions then we might be able to answer your questions better.

I got a opinion...O-wait mine dont count :D..........If it fits you and feels like apart of you buy it.....Its just like buying a Vertical bow,you have to feel comfortable with it.

tough to say. everyone has different opinions. if possible, shoot them both....that will make it easier to decide. good luck.:)

Don't discount the Ten Points and Great Lakes bows.

RE: horton or excalibur
I can only tell you what I did having zero archery experience until a few months ago. I bought an Excalibur Vixen with the factory package. I practiced a little(very little) and I can shoot a sub 2-inch group at 40 yards. I have not modified the bow other than doing a camo job on it. I don't know if other brands are better or more accurate, but this one is good enough for me.

RE: horton or excalibur
Depends on what you are looking for,I have had 4 x bows now I make my choice between 10 point and Excaliber they make quaility xbows AND stand behind them.My persoonal opinion is dollar for dollar none come close to Excaliber. Lee

arch angel74, read all you can, on all the websites you can, pay close attention to the advantages and disadvantages, I looked for weeks before I finally picked up a Excalibur Vixen.Good Luck Joe
