Legend came today
 

My Horton Legend #175 came today. I ordered the bow only model. Been busy mounting theWeaver rail and tighting all bolts. It came with the stock extension which nice for us taller guys. I have removed the sights, mounted my Docter Red Dot. I really like the forearm grip and the talon Trigger. Even feels better thanmy Summit.
It will be ready for sighting in tomorrow.

The Legacy is the standard bow. I chose the compound based on all thefolks stating that the limb width is a problem moving through the woods.

Have fun, I know you will. Don't forget that the first two robin hoods are great to show off but the more you do it the less it looks good! LOL! Just don't tell anyone.:)

Sgt Mike the difference in the recurve and compound models is only aprox 3-4 inches in width. Not much of a difference. the problem with carring whie moving through the woods is with the crossbow compared to the vertical bows.

Last night I was installing a Morgan adjustable pad on the Legend. As I was removing the original padabout a 1/4 cup of liquid ran out of the stock onto my lap. The butt showed no signs of dampness prior to removing the screws.Best guess, It was water. The box was dry and looked factory sealed. Dryed the stockout and all looks well.
How did the water get? I will email Horton to see what they say.....
