FL Archery season....4wks....Public Lands (WMA) and PrivateProperty.

FL Crossbow Season......4 days....No Public lands...Only Private Property.

Crossbows cannot be used in archery season, but Vertical Bows can be used in Crossbow season.[:@]

General Season

South Zone..... 5wks....Rifles, Shotguns, Muzzle Loader, Handguns, Vertical Bows and Crossbows (except on public lands)[:@]

Central Zone....7wks......Same as above

North West Zone....Special 3 days and then 10wks and then a Special Archery/Muzzle Loader hunt Feb.15-25 and no Crossbows allowed![:'(]

Some Public Lands don't allow Rifles, some don't allow Handguns!

We just got a New Governor in October andI had connects toJeb Bush, but not with this one YET.:)

hey Reb, just a thought, but have you thought about gettin some media attention, i mean dont that sound like discrimination to yall?...you cant use a crossbow in archery season, but they can use a vert. bow in crossbow season.......

Right David! It use to be Disability Only. Itis alot better, but not totally fair IMO.:)

That is too bad. Maybe it is a test balloon the state is putting up.

I will say though that if I had a five week gun season I probably wouldnt care. Ours is just a little over a week here. So count your blessings. At least it appears you can use your crossbow then.

I know, not the point, but trying to paint a sunnier picture.
