I had to pick compound BECAUSE, Compound is more widely accepted and you can hunt many many more species in any area in north america or the world for that matter. It wasnt because i dont like crossbows, it's just that i can do sooooo much more with a compound.

Due to CVA and a heart transplant ,I have to hunt with crossbow.Was a trad bowhunter and compound bowhunter for over 46 years.

Well ,I am glad I do not have to choose, I do them all +a few like taking care of my own range and deer hunting propertyas well as being a Master Gardener. Lee
