Well today was my day at the Doc's office,full monty.It looks like I will be Hunting this year and nxt with the Crossbow for now.He will sign a forum for Mn to allow me to get the permit when season gets near.They will domore testing on my neck nxt Thursday and another MRI with dye injected in me.....
On a bad note,they said they would call me Thurs or Friday but I got a call 11/2 after I left,they wanted me back in but I was already just about to work.I need to go in at 8am today,my cholestreal(spl)is over 270 and they said anything over 205 is way bad,also they want to do tests on my Liver(didnt sound good).He put me on CHANTIX to help me quit smoking and I have to take my coffee down to 3 cups a day or less...I said ya-right....Quit smoking and give up coffee I dont think so,he just stared at me.
Anyway I will let you guys know what happens when I get home today.

I quit smoking and coffee on the same day, it's not easy, but also not impossible.

Well they just wanted more blood,had me worried....guess Iam going to be alittle crabby around the home for awhile,put me on pills(40mg) a day for my cholestrall..(family history of heart problems)so I will listen to the Doc.I will just slowly get of the heavy coffee and sig useage......
Now I can focus on my patio and deck.....And get into the crossbow adiction....

Listen to them and take care of yourself,am going thru it myself,once
you get started its not to bad,I have a cheat night once a week helps
a lot!

Ranger, be a good boy and listen to the doctor. Don't you want to hunt into your 70's? Better than drooling in a wheel chair!

quitting smoking is for sure a good idea....i'm still trying to quit. the verdict's still out on coffee as far as i'm concerned. like mom always says.....all things in moderation....:)

My Dad had congested heart failier at age 59.Mom took care of him till he died at 74...15 years parilized and in a wheelchair.My Brother had a stroke at age 50,he is 51 now..Iam 46 and need to be realistic about this.My two other older brothers had a phys andare OK..

nxt bro 50 now 51 not ok
nxt bro 48 is ok
me 46 not ok
You can see how it skips thru us.It scarry.....
