Default Slightly O/T stray cat

My grandmother has a large parcel of land, overgrown farm that the rabbits used to strive in. A couple years ago it was very likely that if you stood still you could see at least 2 rabbits at any given moment, the tracks were everywhere..
Last year my son and I went out and brought one home for dinner, this summer we took his re-curve out just for fun, but we noticed there were substantially fewer rabbit tracks and the presence of cat tracks.
Yesterday I went out to harvest another rabbit, there were absolutely no signs of rabbits in the snow, and the cat tracks were everywhere! I caught a glimpse of the black house cat and he was far from domesticated.
What should I do with this cat? I am a capable live trapper but then to relocate it would just transmit the problem.. This cat has depleted the whole population of rabbits.

Squirrel had that same over populated problem last year. The time has come to remove small wild lions! Pest control make it permanent!

buy a few 220 traps. They do the killing for you so you do not have to do the killing. This helps some people.I shoot andthem trap them. I allso do the same for dogs in some places. If you want rabbits and birds you cant have dogs and cats in the same spots.
