Barnett Quad 400
 

I have just recently purchased a quad 400. It is being shipped so I dont have it yet. Does anyone know how complicated these things are to put together out of the box?

Just got mine for X-mas. Almost as new. Everything you need is in the box. One bolt, allen wrench, if you got the package deal, scope, mount,ect...Lube cable's before you put it together. Have found this forum full of people willing to help...Welcome

Welcome to the forum Mark! There are a few good Barrnet guys on here that should help you out. Coyote and Alsagar, them are not spelled right but look for them and they should help ya with it to like the other that has already posted. Good luck!

any time I can be of help just ask its very easy to assemble follow the
instructions and like army man said,WAX them strings and cables!Make
a mark oneach side of the stock so your string is centered when you
cock it each time,this is very important,good luck and welcome to our

Besure towax the cables and strings as coyote said. Make sure thescope is properly attached. When you buy more boltshave them weighed.If the weight is 30 or 40 grains different from those you used to sight it in then your zero is off. Every set of bolts that i have ever gotten from Barnett weighs different from the others.

Watch your fingers and thumb.Too many folks have been seriously injured whenfingers got in the way of the string.Be really careful not to dry fire it. Good luck with your Barnett 400.

I had read that Barnetts bolts varied in weight and bought a dozen
arrows from Keystone Country store,they are Eastman 2219's and
am very pleased with the performance of these arrows!I bought
another dozen for back up and playing around and recommend them
highly,like the alums betteras they relese from the target a lot
easier,just my thoughts!:)
