best crossbow around 1500
 

my dad is going to buy a crossbow and i only know enough to get me in trouble about crossbows!!!!!!!!!! what is the best far as trigger and other important things to know about a crossbow!!! i heard ten point is one of the best !!!!!!!!!!!

stick with a name-brand. excaliber or tenpoint would be good choices. both have fine triggers.[8D]

If MY daugher were to buy me a crossbow and accessories for that price I would hope that she would wrap up a Pheonix with a scope mount and a 1.5X8 Leupold Gold Ring.
Yes the 10 Point is the best of wheel bows but not the king of all xbows. Of course that is a matter of opinion which is shared by many but not all.

you dont have to spend 1500 dollars on an exelent crossbow.

Look at Phoenix and Tenpoint. Dont count out Horton but i havent been as happy with mine as others have been with their tens or excals. There are many types of tenpoints that i dont really know about but they are really good xbows for alot of $$. If you want a good xbow for some but not a ton of $$ look into the excalibur crossbow line. depending on what your going to hunt i.e. bear, moose, elk, deer, the best medium bow is the Phoenix made by excalibur crossbows. They're only like 400 somthing and they're about the sweetest thing going on our site. Many people have them and many people love them. Ask Randy or Henry about their tenpoints, they know the most about them. It's mainly me and hotburn76 on Hortons, Dan and Don and smoke on phoenix and henry and randy on tenpoints. we each have a specialty. good luck! and ask away!

$1500 to spend sounds like he'll be shooting the 10 pt ProElite package soon. Couldn't think of a better way to spend a grand and a half.:) If I had it I'd get it. No, wait a minute, I already have an Elite. Make that a PHANTOM.[8D]

TenPointor Excalibur either one and your dad will have a great crossbow , in TenPoints ProElite or Phantom,, in Excaliburs go Phoenix..
