RE: Has anyone used this bow by bear?
I haven't used this bow but it is very similar to a Tenpoint. I had read somewhere that Horton had made crossbows for PSE in the past and now Tenpoint was making the crossbows for PSE. Maybe Tenpoint is making crossbows for Bear, too? Looks good anyway.

RE: Has anyone used this bow by bear?
There's been some posts on various xbow forums about Bear recalls on xbows for trigger safety problems. Saw it fresh again recently, but don't know if it's the same recall or another one. There's a good post on AT by "Stosh" who either owns or works in a shop that sells lots of xbows. He lists most brands and their experiences w/ them, worth the read.

there was a write up on the F340 in HBM a coupple isshues back.. not quoting but it was said it was a good bow for a taller person do not know about the other modles, if you look at it you will see there is still a lot of Excal in that crossbow..

RE: Has anyone used this bow by bear?
I believe Bear was making the Maxpoint which was a Excal stock, trigger assembly and rail with compound limbs. I would say it's probably got more Excal genes in it than Tenpoint.
BTW the Maxpoint is a nice shooter too. Got one new in box off Ebay a while back. |
