RE: 2007 TenPoint Phantom
Randy: Nice looking bow! Congrats! Is this the only addition or do you have more coming? What's the weight, if you can discuss features at this point? Meaning overall rather than lbs pull.
|
RE: 2007 TenPoint Phantom
Looks hot and kinda strikerish! That is not meant to be offencive. Looks like a long stroke. Any one know how long the stroke is?
|
RE: 2007 TenPoint Phantom
Great, more money I'll have to spend.

Just over 13.25 if memory serves me. Sorry, I'm at home and don't have the specs on me. It looks longer because it is so narrow. Only 17.5 when cocked. |
RE: 2007 TenPoint Phantom
Here is a couple pics.

RE: 2007 TenPoint Phantom

Yeah, the crowd goes wild. I posted a picture!:D |
RE: 2007 TenPoint Phantom
Will have to go check one out when they hit the proshops..
looking at it it still looks a lot like the proelite other than the footstirrup. to me anyway.. |
RE: 2007 TenPoint Phantom
Henry,
The back half is basically the same, but that front end is new and different in every respect. Shoots like a dream! |
RE: 2007 TenPoint Phantom
well you know I will check it out as soon as A proshop close to me can get one in stock..

RE: 2007 TenPoint Phantom
That sure looks nice. I like that a CB maker is starting to play with some bigger/egg shapedcams too! Seems like most of them have just stayed with plain, small, round ones. Looks nice! How much is that going to set back a wallet?

RE: 2007 TenPoint Phantom
Randy

RE: 2007 TenPoint Phantom

RE: 2007 TenPoint Phantom
Depending on the scope and if you want an Acudraw or Acudraw50 it will range from $1849-$1999 for the entire package.

RE: 2007 TenPoint Phantom
Good bye Cadillac, Hello Mercedes!!
|
RE: 2007 TenPoint Phantom
!0 point, i see at that price your company do'nt want to make to many. You guys are nuts. Rich
|
RE: 2007 TenPoint Phantom
Can some one lend me a thousand or two? Please?;) Of course thats probably over $2,500.00 in Canada. My Hoyt Ultra Tech was expensive at a bit less than $1,000.00 Canadian. Randy, what is the social profile of a buyer of one of these bows. They have to be making well over $100,000 per annum. I know you know Randy!

RE: 2007 TenPoint Phantom
Randy, please don't take the ribbing to heart. I'm sure there are lots of guys that have lots of money to spend on ultra-high end stuff as Bow Tech also believes. Heck if some one spends a hundred thousand bucks on a car why not? I've see it tons of times. This forum just has poe folk that get taken aback when we see this. I've been vacillating on what "last" rifle to buy and some of them are a few thousand. So who am I to say that your price is too high?

10point, I hope some one hears what the customer is saying, to many dollars buy a hole bunch. Rich

RE: 2007 TenPoint Phantom
DNK,
What you are saying is somewhat true. Compared to the Phantom, the others are not very accurate. The gained accuracy comes with how the new design on the limb works. there is so little shock that it makes the bow more accurate. As for comparing to bowtech, our package comes with more and better stuff, so you aren't really comparing apples to apples. As for being a bow only and not a package, our top bow is always a package. However, you wil be able to buy the PRo Elite as a bow only this year and it will shoot about 330fps this year, so that would certainly be an option. I don't take the ribbing to heart. I understand where you are coming from RWK, I absolutley hear what you are saying. I agree, 2 grand is a lot of cash. That is why we make bows and packages from $400 up. The Titan pkg at $499 got lighter, quieter, better looking and will get a better trigger as well this year. We have a very good $1000 package this year that we did not have last year. We try and make a good bow in most price ranges from $400 up. Randy |

RE: 2007 TenPoint Phantom
Guys can you picture going home and say honey i need a couple of grand to buy a crossbow, you might see your name in the obits. Rich
|
RE: 2007 TenPoint Phantom
Ok guys don't take offence but we have to be fair. This bow is not marketed toward us directly. Like a General Motors product you can buy an elcheapo sub compact or a Cadi SUV but we don't bash that. I am not a Ten Point guy and you all know that. Some of us here including myself have no problem buying a scope for several hundred dollars and a rifle for almost as much, rings and bases for a couple of hundred. My 300 WSM as it sits is over two grand and so what? Guys we are bordering on bashing here and I think we should lay off and start picking on Randy himself! Come on Randy show us a picture of yourself!
|
RE: 2007 TenPoint Phantom
Well I for one am going to go check out the Phantom as well as the new ProElite, and if it is half the Crossbow Randy says it is even though My proElite is still basically new I may have to find a way to get one, even if I have to save for a few months to do so,, I do know this I would much rather by A Phantom made by a proven crossbow as to buying a Stryker from a company that just took up making crossbows,
Also the is a very shap looking Feature rich crossbow. IMO And if Excalibur comes out with some new one you can bet I will check them out also |
RE: 2007 TenPoint Phantom
I get ribbed on some local Ohio hunting forums for my "$$$TenPoint Crossbow$$$". It's as if I was foolish for spending so much jack on a single crossbow. The only thing I can think of that makes those guys think that is that they are Jealous. That's exactly what's happening here with the Phantom. Most of us KNOW (me included), that this bow is out of our league price wise. All of the sudden now the bow is overpriced and TenPoint is guilty of catering to BMW driving country club type snobs.
