Trigger Pull Woes??

Here's a little gizmo I found on Excals forum. In order to use it, your trigger guard has to be any amount less tha 1/4" thick just below the trigger. It will fit Parkers. The guy I talked to said most Hortons have too much creep for it to work on them, but I may have misunderstood him. My only Excal w/ factory stock is .110" too thick, it's trigger is just fine as is, but I may fit one to it to see what it gives me, as I have an extra stock laying around. It will cut your trigger pull by at least 50% and in most cases more. I ordered one of them and told the guy about Excals, he had never heard of them. Later on, I saw I had a pm on Excal. This guy had botched my credit card # up, joined Excal forum so he could pm me to call him back!! If the gizmo is half as good as that, it's gonna be a keeper!! Shewe: Here's a copy of a post the maker made on Excal forum. He addresses creep. Also, note the part about too light a pull on Bnetts and Hortons if I'm reading it right? Should be fun to tinker w/. Being a gadget freak, lol, $40 ain't nothin compared to some of my less brainy endeavors, lol. Here ya'll go:

Crossbows triggers are so different depending on the manufacturer. All I can say is the Assist does not remove creep but it doesn't add any. I have a machinist in PA, I talked to him this AM., he has one mounted on a H. The H. crossbows and the B's. have the worst travel. His problem wasn't with the travel but the trigger is so light he is working on getting it heavier. With his hunting and work he said he will get more time in '07 to come up with a prototype for the H-bows. Awshucks hopefully will keep us all posted on the EXcaliburs.
