RE: What do you do with your racks?
For those of you who do not keep any type of racks and are willing to get rid of them, I WILL TAKE THEM off of your hands and will even PAY for them. I am makinga boarder of antlers around the ceiling/wall in my 1250 Sq. foot hunting room, so there for I am in need of alot of antlers weather they are spikes or 4s,6s,8s etc...

RE: What do you do with your racks?
Well I have only shot Five Bucks so far. My first eight pointer was mounted and is on the wall. My second which was a little bigger was just skull plate mounted and is on the wall also. Then my retarded six which was supposed to be a full skull mount was left in the barn to rot but it turned mummy on me and all the hair is fully on holding it togeather, It is now outside for the last four months working its way off, no hurry. A nice little eight is just laying in the shed, poor guy, no respect. And the busted rack eight is right next to him! After a while I guess you lose interest in them. That is why I decided to hold out for a big guy or only shoot does for the frezzer. This year I am getting my but kicked though, wandering if I should have passed on the little eight and six I seen several times!

RE: What do you do with your racks?
I've thrown away all but one pair which i use for rattling. I'm not too into keeping antlers. If I shot something dangerous like a bear, I'd definatly have it made into a rug. ;)

Don, down here many grind them into powder and sell it in the Asian markets for as much as $35 an once. To them it's believed to be an Aphrodisiac!
