i used mine when i got them i have one left, outta 4 of them it was sad when i was in my climber and i didnt tie the knot good enuff and when i was letting it outta the tree it fell and landed scope first and the first 3 shots was 8 yrds and destroyed 3 outta the four bolts but i got things fixed outta human error and i still got one left but yes you can use them. In you manual it says use 125 gr tips so i go by what my book says from barnett. yes use broad heads with them i use mecs 125 gr shock waves. but good luck with what you use.
