RE: Replacement bolts - down to two.
I'm pretty sure they are identical except one has a plastic nock and the other aluminum. Don't know the prices at bowhuntersuperstore, but Miller gets $34.50 for 1/2 doz and ships Priority Mail. Good Luck!!! :)

RE: Replacement bolts - down to two.
I believe they are the same arrow, if you would like to save a few dollars you could order some GT II from Dan Miller for $34.50 per six these will weigh just a bit more than the TenPoint arrows at 431 grains per versus 420 grains per for the TenPoints I have shot these Arrows out of my ProElite as well and the shoot well tipped either with the Slick Trick broadheads ot Nap Thundreheads.. or you could if you want order directly from TenPoint on their website..

RE: Replacement bolts - down to two.
Henry, lol, one more time, the Ten Points weigh 431, read the Cabelas thingy he just posted. According to Randy, the Hunter and Pro-Elite arrows are the same, just set up different, if I understood him correctly. Apparently there is no Ten Point arrow [carbon] at 420 gr. I've seen them advertised somewhere as 420 gr too, but can't remember where. it looks like he can get a dozen cheaper tha from Miller, didn't see that part of the post, dayam thing is too wide for my screen, lol.

RE: Replacement bolts - down to two.
Dan the info I have been given on the TenPoint arrows is that they in fact do weigh 420 grains the diffence being that instead of having the aluminum nock as the arrows from D. Miller they have the superbright plastic nock. maybe Randy will chime in here and clarify what the weight of the TenPoint arrows are.

Dan can you post a link to where Randy said the TenPoint arrows weighed 431 I did a serch and not finding that..

RE: Replacement bolts - down to two.
Henry: No link, bud, just the info that I've cut and pasted outta Cabelas the last time we went thru this, and here it is once again cut and pasted by the author of the thread. You chase it down, I couldn't get an answer I could understand from Randy about the two weights and a previously asked question about 10 pt arrows FOC. Somtimes he's like trying to catch the last minnow in the bucket, lol. The fact that they both weigh 431 gr kinda amazes me as one has a plastic nock and the other aluminum. He11, you gave them $1500 bucks, you see if you can get a straight answer. I only saw the 420 gr once or twice and it was prolly a misprint. You know he's the national sales manager for 10 pt. He'd like nothing better than to see us all carrying 10 pts, that's his job. It's not doing 10 pt any favors to let guys know they can get the same arrow cheaper somewhere else, but that too is the American way. Thesecompanies are all in competition, I'm surprized there ain't adds for better zip locks for your meat or better freezer paper form the XYZ xbow company, lol. Oh, Btw, did you get a scale? Or make one?

RE: Replacement bolts - down to two.
Well I asked about the TenPoint arrows weight but never did get an answer. so I dont know.. but they are made by Gold Tip,, for TenPoint so ther are probably the same shaft that Dan Miller sells they prolly just use different vanes TenPoint use Duravanes and I dont know what Dan Miller uses and TenPoint uses the superbright nocks and Dan Miller uses the aluminum nocks. both use a brass insert
anyway if anyone can get an answer on the weight of the TenPoint arrows let us all know.. |
RE: Replacement bolts - down to two.
Finally got an answer to my question about the TenPoint arrows..
They will be right around 420 grains. Like most arrows, they come in a range of weights due to shaft variation and glue variation. ----- Randy Wood National Sales Manager TenPoint Crossbow Technologies |
