those of you who fletch your own arrows.....how do you get the jig to index properly with the flat nock rather than the conventional nock?

What fletching tool do you have and are your nocks threaded?

i have a bitzenburger. the bolts have flat nocks.

If u shoot 2216's or 2219's Ten pt. has flat end caps or noks. They have a small sq. end nok that inserts into those end caps. Then u use it just like fletching reg. arrow shafts.:)

The Bitz. has a nok receiver fer the CB flat noks. Around $20+. I have Az. e-z fletcher and i use the Ten pt. system, it does limit yer choice of shaft sizes. DNK can show another way to fletch and Rebel Hog has shown a pic of it.:D

If you have threaded nocks, just take a nock for vert bow's arrow, cut off the part that goes into the shaft and drill and tap it for 8-32. Put a piece of a screw in there and you're all set. I had to make one up for local bow monkey. [thanks planter]

ty much guys. never knew that bitz had a bolt nock receiver.....saw it on bowhunters super store, will grab one....needed to get a straight clamp anyhow.

This fletching is something I am going to have to get into. Will not be to much of a need this fall, but a trip from santa could deliver something that will allow me to play with lighter shorter arrows!:eek:
