Their are a few Barnett guys on here so you should get a hit, it may just take a while. How much are they asking?

Are you talking about a recent bow or an old bow. The name rhino was used on a crossbow many years ago and I think Barnett makes one now as well.

RE: barnett crossbows

aa74,,,,, I have two Barnett Quad 300's. I got my second on a close out of a store, so its become my back up. The one thing I do not like about the Quad 300 is how loud it is. I've taken deer with it and it is fast. I've watched the bolt pass through deer and hit the ground before I hear the bow string stop; but, if there is a second deer coming, I can forget about a shot at it because of the noise from the bolt I just fired.

Barnetts are not expensive but are good crossbows. I'm not unhappy with the Quad 300 but I will now try every crossbow I can in a pro shop to find to get to know them all better and to purchase what I will use in the future. I'll use my Quad 300 for at least the next few years and fully enjoy it.

I do suggest you spend all the time possible practicing with it from the ground and from you stand, if you are going to use one. Become one with it. The grass always looks better on the other side of the fense goes just as well for crossbows. The Rhino is a good crossbow and a great place to start from.

dnk,

i HAVE a RECURVE RHINO by Barnett. it was made in England, and was seldom sold in the USA. it was made 10-12 years ago. (i think mine was a "GI bring-back".)

they are rare enough in the USA that the "parts guy" at Barnett has never actually seen one, despite having worked there for many years. he asked me to send him color pictures.
