RE: Cable Slides??

the cable slide snaps on to your cables and slides in the slot under your rail. it protects the string from becoming frayed while sliding forward and backwards in the slot.

RE: Cable Slides??

Awshucks,
Htoler is correct. Your cables are under tension and trying to pull "up". The cble saver or cable slide keeps the cables seperates and from rubbing the underside of the barrel. Some crossbows have them and some do not. It depends on the design and the material the barrel is made of as well as the material of the cable. You will get instructions of where and how to install the cable slide/saver.

10 pt: No manuals available, but Peter aka Excal Marketing Dude told seller to have me give him a call if I have questions. Nice offer on a used bow, eh? About what I'd expect from them or 10 pt.though.

SquK: Yes, blowing up is always a possibility w/ alot of SPEED and way too much POWER. lol, then there's wheels, axels, cables, bearings, slides, tuning, did I miss anything? lol. It's ok though, I got a couple of spares!!

Hey, fellow wheeler's just kidding!!

Btw: Squk: Did you ever see the old TV series "MASH"?? Did you know the name of it's theme song is " Suicide is Painless" Something you might want to take note of w/ your new signature line. tickets would be priceless lol
