Deer Limits
 

OK a few have asked me where can a person hunt and take 150 deer in a legal manner! Tn. Unit L counties my friends! You can actually take more than that. We roughly have 100 day season and Unit L allows 3 Does a day, add it up 100 x 3 =300! Who is going to cleanand eat that many Does?[&o]

(Bag limits on WMAs can differ)
DEER - daily bag limits are:
• Two antlered deer during general gun, muzzleloading gun and archery/muzzleloading gun seasons.
• One antlered deer and one antlerless deer, or two antlered deer, during antlerless deer season.
• Two antlered deer, or two antlerless deer, or one antlered and one antlerless deer, during archery seasons.
Possession limit - Four deer
Note - Regardless of which season, what sex or how many permits, harvesting more than two deer per day is prohibited.


Ours is Oct 15-Feb16, that's including Archery, Black powder and General.
Daily bag limit,2 bucksa day. Does are by permit only.

I'm not sure of the exact number , but Alabama has a very high quota .

I'm living in the wrong country! Hows the market for a great BMW repair shop guys? I need more deer and I wouldn't whine about cleaning 300 deer!:eek:

Alabama's is high don't quote me but i think its one deer a day and at least a 100 day season!:DLike i said who is going to clean and eat that many?[&o]

i'll speak for all the a-hi-a people. we can take 3 deer total, 1 buck and 2 does, or 3 does.

Dnk we would have to travel a long way just to trade out on cleaning each others deer. Now the good thing is Tn. A unit allows 4 Does fer Bow season and 4 Does fer ML seasonand 3 Bucks anywhere in the seasons but only 2 of them in the same season. If i harvested that many i would have to get squirrelkilla23 to drag them up here to my trailer home. Thats because its too much like work!:D

VA. has 2 a day 6 a year 3 of which must be anterless. But you can buy bonus tags, all you want, for antlerless deer only on private land only. We also have a lot of private land areas that have DMAP or free deer that do not count towards the daily or season bag limit. Anterless on the DMAP and 2 DMAP tags per hunter per day along with 2 license tagged deer means you could take 4 a day as long as you had tags. And bullets or arrows or friends to help drag them out!

In Ontario (other than under certain circumstances) we can only take two measlie deer, even if we do use an EXOCET!!!:D

carefull squirrelkilla, depending on where you are in ohio. we have 3 zones A,B,and C. and also we have "Urban" deer zones around a few populated areas where you can take 5 deer if i'm not mistaken, it changes quite a bit. 1 antlered deer per season no matter where you are, and the balance does or "antlerless" deer. (2 inches or less) you have to beknowledgeable on these regs. and know where you are and what you are doing or you could get nailed and end up paying out your butt and losing your hunting privlages and equipment.
