RE: FEAR OF LOSS
ok ok, as requested by a nameless source i'm here now:D
free range. if you dont like us. then dont post here. do you think that is possible? the reason i got into crossbow hunting is because yea, i'm afraid i'm gonna choke when a deer comes in. so i'm useing a xbow untill i get stronger. being that i'm 12 and your probbaly what 42 living with your parents and playing deerhunter 4 with your bows, i think your not strong enough to pull the 150 pound bow back into the shooting postioin. if you post again, i'm gonna have to go further. so back off. leave all the crossbow guys alone. anywhere. i'm sick of people sayin that we're not sportsmen (and women catsclaw;)) for using a crossbow. if it's notgood, then why did the DNR make it legal to harvest the deer with? huh? tell me why. it's probbaly more humane than your vertical bows. because there is repeated accuracy. we can push it harder and faster than you can. therefore making a more humane faster bleedout. leave us alone!!!!!!!!!!!![:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@]happy nameless[8D] |

RE: FEAR OF LOSS
I get a real chuckle out of the posts by some of the vert crowd about their "heritage" their "dedication" and the inevitable "practise" practise" "practise". Terms suited only to the stick and string crowd, but they, having been through this several times now don't seem to be the ones complaining. About 20 years ago, I was checking out friends new state of the art compound. It had all the bells and whistles of the time. I shot 3 arrows at 25 yds into a tennis ball sized group. Granted, they weren't in the bull, but could have been in a matter of minutes. It had peep sight, let off and a trigger. I hadn't shot a compound prior to that day, and it was a right handed bow in the hands of a "lefty". Sorry, verts. that dog don't hunt w/ me.

RE: FEAR OF LOSS
Squirrelkilla23,
Nice response, better then most of the grown ups here. Now I only ask one thing of you, go back and read DJH’s post that started this thread, then read mine again, you will find they are almost word for word the same except I turned around the meaning. I didn’t say anything about x-bow users that he didn’t say about bow users. Now if you are truly mad at what I said you must be upset with DJH too. I was only pointing out how absurd his post is and how this is how these threads almost always start, with someone like DJH attacking bow hunters. I only came on here and posted in response to his attack on me, as a bow hunter. Funny how no one mentioned how alike the two post were, I guess it has something to do with perception and the blinders we wear. |
RE: FEAR OF LOSS
he didnt mean anything by it! and also tell me where it says that he was attacking you as a person. tell me please where it says free range in there. i want you to find one spot. he was not attacking the bow users. he was simply stating the differences between the two. and rightly so. he runs HORIZONTAL BOWHUNTERS MAGAZINE!!!!!!! i am not saying that it is better to hunt with either. i personally will do both when older and stronger as said before. all people like you do is come here and sturr up the crappot. like i say. if you dont like it, STAY AWAY FROM IT!!!!! WE DO NOT NEED YOUR OPINION. we have enough crap coming from people, even fellow hunters! it's legal, it's going to stay that way. we won the right to use them, and we use it! so please stop posting here. they have a forum especially made for the vertical bow hunters a few clicks up. we stick up for eachother, because we're a family. and if you didnt stick up for the verticals if some jerk crossbower (none of them here) came in and started yapping up the place with bla bla bla, you're not the kind of person that i would like to share the woods with. we're all hunters in this forum, and you are too. treat us as fellow hunters, not some cheaters because we choose not to use the same type of hunting as you. so again, for everyones sake, please leave us be. we never said anything about youin the bowhunters forum. thank you...
