I don't think it really matters. T under 30 yards the deer won'r move fast enough.

I have a Yucon SL and I think it's fairly noisy compared to my compound but out of ten deer I've yet to have one even close to jumping the string!

i use 2 sets of limb savers on my Horton legend and it helps a ton. one far out as possible and one about half way on limbs.
Thats what I wanted to do but the dealer told me that Horton doesnt reccomend limbsavers. He even told me they had problems with limb failure when used with limb savers.

I dont shoot over 30 yards but I just dont like all the noise and second shots often present themselves on other deer in the groups when I'm using my less noisy compound.

I will look into filling the hollow stock. that idea makes a lot of sense!

I would guess an excalibur vixen with the sound dampening devices installed would be the quietest on the market. I am considering this combo, I had a barnett revolution and it was too heavy to carrybecause I have back problems. The revolutionwasvery loud when it went off, but shot so fast it probably would not matter how loud it was.
