got a quick question for ya guys. i got my grandfathers old revolation shotgun handed down to me and the blue on the barrel is all faded off and the stock is loose not sure if they do this or what the cost is but could the local gunsmith recolor it and fix the orginal stock and if so how much would the cost be. just wondering if anyone knows any feedback be great.

Any good gunsmith should be able to do what you ask with his eyes closed. And the cost depends on the type of blueing you want on your barrel. (This is determined by what you are going to do with the gun) All total I wouldn't expect more than $250 - $300

i'd leave it alone, find a special place on the wall,,enjoy it as it is..and pass it down to a family member...someone would appreciate it just as it is with it's history...just a thought...seuf
