Newbie cooking for 10 people
#11
Have cooked for many more than that. I am from a family of 9 so I learned alot from my mother. All above advice is great but just remember one item that they have not mentioned. KEEP IT SIMPLE. Stews, soups, chili, hamburgers/hot dogs, beans and salads can feed a lot of people in a short amount of time. Prepare as much as you can before getting there and do NOT try to please everyone for every meal. Take into account allergies and food problems but if it is just a "I do not like that" then someone will go hungry. Scrambled eggs and bulk sausage feeds many along with biscuits and cheese for breakfast. Sandwiches for lunch work great also. Pasta and other such items feed many with just a little prep time. Pancakes that only need water to mix are great and do not take that long either.
Good Luck and have a great time cooking.
