Canned Bacon

I have not seen it for years, but does anyone know where I can purchase canned bacon? Seen it at K-mart years ago but no more.

Does it have to be canned? I use the bagged ( used to be canned) Hormel real crumbled bacon. Costco has it in the 1 lb cheap.

Does the bagged have to be refrigerated? I was mainly looking at shelf life and keeping critters out.

Yes, the bagged has to be kept cool. It's precooked, but still requires to be kept on ice.

Once it's opened it needs to be kept cool. It comes in a zip lock bag.
