I was hoping for some recipies for making homemade venison hotdogs.[&:]

But anyway you can make Italian dogs. chilie dogs. cheese dogs. Wrap in bacon cook and then add cheese, slice them and add to scrambled eggs, or hot dogs and beans.. sliced and cooked in pastry dough as horderves. or give them to the dog.:D;)

Don't think there is much more you can do with them other than slicing and adding to scalloped taters. I've been staring at a couple of packs in the freezer myself for a bit trying to get motivated. [8D] Not exactly sure just how they got there.

Get a 12 pack of hotdogs and a 12 pack of beer. Drink 11 beers, boil hotdogs, put in bun, add chili, mustard, slaw, and onions. Eat it and drink last beer.

I haven't read or heard about anyone making venison dogs... that would be an interesting topic!

As for the hot dogs, nothing like cooking them over a fire on a stick! Place them in a potato bun with some spicy mustard - good eats! I keep it simple...

Salsa, fried onions, all types of cheese, saurkraut, diced tomatoes, fried mushrooms, raw onions, chili, guacamoli, bacon....use your imagination!
Personally, I like to dice tomato and onion, mix them together, steam the bun, BBQ the weiner...then add relish, a slice or two of bacon, mozzerella cheese, then the tomato/onion mix.....good eating!

I tried to do most of them at once on a dog but needed a knife and fork and a real big napkin.;)

Hotdogs make excellent catfish bait. I like mine with kraut and chopped onions.
