New here and looking for a recipe

Hello,
I'm new here (first post ever) so I would like to introduce myself first. I'm Heather and I'm a 16 year old moose/deer hunter and fisherman (I hope to extend the hunting to include everything from bear to turkey). Anyway, I have been looking for a good recipe for heart. I have been wanting to take the heart but not knowing how to cook it or where to find a recipe, I leave it for fear of having to throw it away.
Thanks for anyhelp you can give me.

first off welcome to the board.

on the heart, that is always the first thing we eat.I take it and slice it into thin strips.season it with lawyers seasoning, garlic powder, pepper, flour lightly. pan fry in hog lard till just done.

also you can cook it in noodles, seasoned as above.

My mother used to dice the heart into cubes about 1/2", then mix it in with ingredients similar to a beef stew in gravy....very good that way !!!!
