tonight my neighbor invited me over, her husband is not a hunter but his son-in-law is, for venison cooked on the grill, marinated for 30 min in some kind of mesquite , with salad and cooked mushrooms, onions, zuchinni squash, it was to die for. best venison I have had in a while....

What load/gun combo do you recomend for butterflies, Are they hard to track? how long do you let them hang? What is the best method to field dress one?

scrumdiddlyumptous!!! I had venison steaks on the grill a couple nights ago. My neighbors are really worried about me. An older couple sat in the window looking at me cooking and shaking their heads.
It was about -15 out or so and some nice lake effect snow coming down. Wearing a pair of shorts and sweatshirt. Beer in one hand and fork in the other!! Standing in snow over my knees. ahhhhhhhhhhhh doesn't get any better. Should be a commercial IMO.

I was going to ask you how do you cut up a butterfly and how many does it take to make a good meal.
