spicy Thai peanut satay

I cubed up a bunch of red stag loin and marinated it in San-j spicy Thai Peanut sauce with some fresh grated ginger and garlic. I left the meat in the marinade overnight. Then put the chunks on metal skewers.

Then grilled them over white hot coals.

Not seeing the spicy part and peanut sauce is typically not very spicy at all compared to many Thai foods.

Ingredients: Tamari Soy Sauce (Water, Soybeans, Salt, Alcohol), Organic Sugar, Peanuts, Water, Apple Cider Vinegar, Sake (Water, Rice, Salt), Rice Vinegar, Organic Honey, Garlic Powder, Salt, Spices, Lemon Juice Concentrate, Canola Oil, Cilantro, Xanthan Gum.

If you like curry, venison goes incredibly well with curry. Panang red curry paste and good coconut milk is all you need. Panang curry paste is one of the milder curries from Thailand. Yellow is also usually mild but Penang goes great with red meats. It also sometimes has a hint of peanut added to the recipe. Its quite simple to make.
