My wife is making PA Dutch pot pie for dinner, not to be confused with what many call pot pie, this is not in a pie crust, it is meat and bone broth with celery and carrots and potatoes and big fat egg noodles about 4 inches by 4 inches in size. She is making it with an elk roast neck roast. I can't wait to taste it. The woman knows how to make PA Dutch pot pie. I also picked up my elk ring bologna this morning. It is phenomenal.

Oldtimr, sounds like what they call Slippery Pot pie up here. Basically pot pie as stew and they cut up pie crust and cook it in the stew.
