RE: Camp potatoes
We do something similar. We slice up the New Potatoes, butter up the heavy foil, add sliced onions and whatever spices you like, fold and seal the foil pack then either place on the grill or bury in the coals.
It works great and takes little time to prepare. The leftovers if any can be used with the eggs in the morning just by frying them up to a nice brown. |
RE: Camp potatoes
Thats what I forgat - THE ONIONS.
thanks |
RE: Camp potatoes
Tex,
I tried your recipe last night at my lease in Hamilton County (little North of you), and they were a huge hit. I also put some ham in with them. Good Stuff! |
