Count me out on this one. Just the idea of eating deer nuts is gross.

Wow - I think I would get a pain in my goin when I chewed down on one of those. I wonder if the indians ate em? That one guy in Apocolypto ate nuts and the other guys just laughed at him...

IDK, I'll try most anything but I don't know if I could do that. I'm with you DJ, I'd be feeling the pain. I'm all for using as much of the deer as possible, but c'mon, make a knife handle from the ribs or something, a jacket from the hide. Don't eat the nuts, that's just insulting the deer.

Hey I always thought Rocky Mountain Oysters were made of Cow Nutz. I guess it can be both.[:'(][:'(][:'(][:'(]
If you ever see a cow with nuts be sure to take a picture for the scientific journals, usually it's only the bulls that have them...

Ok kevin ,

you got me there. But, I guess if you found nuts on a COW, I think I would be less likely to eat those than if they came off a Bull. [:'(][:'(][:'(][:'(]

The only time I've ever seen a cow with nuts behind it was one that was getting lucky at the time, and I definitely wouldn't have tried to eat those...[&:]

I've told my son when he gets his first buck that it isa hunting camp tradition that you have to eat the buck's nuts. Of course we'll bring em back to camp and swap em out with meatballs...and he is looking forward to it, cause I've told him all the good hunters eat em.

As for eating them for real...notta chance
