baiting allowed in your state?
 

Well sorry if this is getting a bit much. Figured I would post on the 3 I visit the most.

I am looking for info on states that allow bear baiting..is yours one of them. A simple yes or no and the state would be appreciated! Thanks as usual.

Yes. If I'm not mistaken it alternates every other year, opening either before or after dog hunting.

No thanks LOL, dont figure I would ask how people feel towards it! Figured I would just see whats allowed and whats not for now! The board of advisory meeting is tomorrow and hopefully we can use this one to slam dunk it a little harder! Wish I had more time and more responsive ness from some of the biologists I have talked to. Guess I am not asking the right questions, they all have put me onto someone else and I think I have found what I am lookin for now dagnubit if he wasnt buizy LOL!

Not in Washinton state. A voter initiative to ban bear baiting passed a few years ago. Don`t know what the wildlife biologists and the Department of Fish and Wildlife think about this one. The liberal voters slam dunked this one. No science, just emotion.

No in California. Can't even hunt within a few hundred yards of a dump or any place that will draw bears unnaturally.
