Draw Loc?

My question is what is a draw Loc? I have heard people talk about them But I don't know what they are. My only guess is they keep the bow fully drawn? If thats what they are want nothing to do with them. Any info on this would be great.

thats what they are !! you bolt it to the bow,you clip the release to the string and pull it back and it locks.then you just trip the release.it keeps it at full draw till you are ready to shoot.

Not leagl in most states, unless you have a handi-cap permit.

I am not a hunter I am a whitetail population reduction specialest

remember keep your back to the sun, your knife sharp, and your powder dry.

Treeclimber - Just had to say that I love your Title. How long in ones hunting career does it take to obtain that recognition....

A draw lock pretty much turns a compound into a vertical crossbow. I can see how it'd be beneficial for young'ns and old'ns. If an eight year old kid can't handle a bow well enough to hunt with it, but can with the draw lock, then let him use it. If we don't, and he doesn't get to hunt because of it, he may get into sports and other interests and never return his attention towards hunting or the outdoors. Likewise, if seniors can't handle hunting weight bows anymore, why should that be a cause for them to stop hunting if a draw lock would enable them to continue? If it's legal I don't have a problem with them, but they sure don't float my boat.

God bless,
Brandan
