Sheds work great if you do a little fabrication to them. Same sides from two different bucks that fit well together, eliminate the browtines and they tuck nicely between your fanny pack and lower back. Or just wrap the strap around them and throw them in your backpack they wont make any noise with either of the carrying styles.

I like the rattleing bag myself, this is because they're easy to carry and I only use them if I see a buck which is not coming my way. Throw everything but the kitchen sink at it in hopes to change it's course of travel. I'd think real antlers would sound better, but I don't think sound is that big of a deal, if he's going to come in he's going to come in. I don't think the small difference in sound will make much difference.

Shed33's idea sounds like something to try, if you can find two large enough sheds. My luck with finding sheds hasn't been very good!

Ussually when I get a buck to come in by rattling He's coming in a hundred MPH. Thats Why I use on hand on the rattle bag and one hand on my bow so It's an easy transition from rattling to drawing back...
