I don't consider this baiting. I don't hunt over the minerals I have out though. I hunt over what is already there, acorns, corn, soybean. I consider the stuff I have out as a supplement. I have some stuff called lucky buck out, but it is $20 a bucket, about every two months. I think that I will try that new 'recipe' posted earlier. certainly more economical and less labor intense. thanks.

Unfortunately, unless something has changed that I am unaware of, it is currently illegal to put out salt/mineral licks in Illinois.(even during the non hunting season) This being due to the CWD scare that has hit our state. Even before when it was legal, licks are considered baiting if hunted over during season.
