I've got the same bow and love it. I find it very forgiving which is good for someone as inconsistent as me.

From what I've heard the Blackhawk isn't very forgiving; I guess it was designed more for flat out speed.

What's the difference in the brace heights? Doesn't the BlackHawk have only like a 5 inch brace height? If that's the case, I don't think the two bows are a very apples-to-apples comparison.

I think you have the Blackhawk and the BlackKnight mixed up.The BlackKnight has a brace height of 5 3/4 with an IBO speed of 342-350.
The blackhawk has a brace height of 8" an an IBO of 309-317.

Congrats on the (new) bow bigbuck90------and on the better shooting and scores.Looks like the Hoyt seems to fit you a little better.
Personally I cant see where the Blackhawk isnt a good shooter with such a forgiving brace.

It all boils down to confidence.........

Once you think the reason you are shooting "bad" is the bow's fault then it's time to move on no matter the brand or model.

Shooting is mostly a mental game.... It takes a long time to build the confidence and only a second to lose it.

Hope everything works out for you. Goodluck.
