Why do you hunt

To relax, be with family and friends and to see all of God;s wonders that i can,t see when i,m locked up indoors. To get the feeling of excitement when the animal your going after is coming in for a shot ( how they do,nt hear my heart i do,nt know). Listening to all the stories at the end of a day, especialy from first timers, the kids are great. Things have changed for me after all these years but i still get that HigH from being outdoors doing what my dad and uncles have taught me. Rich K.

For one I was raised with a father who hunted.I loved being in the woods and also enjoy watching wildlife, whether I'm hunting them or just watching .I enjoy eating wild game, and I also rise to the challenge of trying to out smart the animal that I choose to hunt, whether it's calling them in, or using attractent's, or even using a cam to get picture's in order to try and figure out their routine .I also enjoy getting time away on my own in a silent bush getting away from the normalities of my every day life in the town. This is why I hunt and I just couldn't imagine not being able to do so.

The biggest reason I hunt is to get out and be one with the great outdoors. The times at camp and definately the thrill of all the preparation to the final drag of that elusive animal we all want to harvest, add a definate plus to the reason too, but most of all to get outdoors.

Just to get out and get away from the stress of work and life in general. I cherish the opportunities to spend outdoors with the family and friends. Plus I enjoy the challenge of pitting yourself against nature.

to relax, see nature, be with friends, and see what other crazy things mother nature will have her friends do. I like the quiet and peace of it all too.

Because for the most part I can avoid idiots when I'm in the woods. No, I'm serious. Stupid people stress me out. Aside from that I like to try and out smart one of the most gifted animals to walk the earth when it comes to it's senses and instincts. Because when you get close to a big buck there is no controling the pounding in your chest or the wobble in your knees.
