I didn't even see anything. I think I might have to move my stand further into the thick stuff to catch them before darkness.

I called my buddy to see how he did, the punk got one! This is what he said "you should have been here there were does everywhere".

Well I'm going to cry now.

Geoff - Theres still plenty of time for you this year. Suggestion for you tell your buddy to hunt where you were at today and you go by where he was. This time youll see all the does.

Join the club! I've been out 4 times now and havent seen a deer since opening day but it was still too dark. Keep on them, it doesnt always happen the 1st day.

Any day spent huntin, is better than any day spent workin,,

Next time Geoff, it doesn't have to mean it was a washout. You learned something which is something I try to bring home with me every trip out and hey, I haven't been out, our seasons a couple weeks away, no pity from me. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

If we got our deer on the first day there would be no deer camps,weekend trips, or any reason to get out of the house for more than a day a year!:)
