Barometric Pressure effect on Elk

I was just reading an article on the effects of barometric pressure on white tails and how it affects their behavioral patterns. Does anyone know how it affects Elk?

It depends who you talk too..It may have something to do with triggering the cows along with some other factors..I feel that if the cows are hot it really doesn't matter what else is going on. The buls will be active!!;)

I think the trigger is the incoming weather. Animals will eat early if they can tell that a storm is coming in, especially if there won't be enough moonlight for feeding. Blacktails are known for waiting until the nastiest weather comes in to be out feeding.
