Moderator Cup Entries & Members Harvest
 

Well I guess it is about time that I post something so that you guys know what I want and need for your entries.

1. Need a picture. If you don't have one to send, shoot me an email and I can give you my mailing address where you can send a real picture and I will get it scanned and sent back.

2. Your Huntingnet username of course!!

3. Location of Harvest......State and possibly county if you don't mind.

4. Date and time of Harvest

5. Composite Score of buck using BTR Scoring methods (this includes inside spread). Score is not needed right away and by no means has to be done by a professional. We are on a honor system here. But if you post a 120 class deer and claim 150 class deer, questions will be asked. I will need to know score after hunting season is over and prior to voting for viewers choice.

6. Your Weapon of Choice.....Recurve, Compound, Crossbow. Make and model just so we can see how much the Mathews guys outnumber the others!!

7. And of course the story of what went down.

Once you have gathered all of this information, you can send it to me at:

This is not my normal email address, because it doesn't always handle some of the bigger file sizes. That address will handle anything you throw at it.

For those of you that are not in the cup, send the same information to the same place and you will be placed in the Members Harvest Section.

Sorry, forgot one thing. If you need a BTR Scoring sheet let me know. I can send one to you via email.

And one more thing on the score of a buck. The score is a must to be elgible for biggest buck. You can shoot a 200 class buck, but if you don't submit a score of some sort you won't be elgible for biggest buck.

Maybe next time you will pay attention before you print something!!

And for the record, I have downsized it a little bit. When it was sent to me, it was almost twice that size. I wish buckmasters would put out a pdf file for this, their webpage says we are working on it.

In my spare time I have been working on a spreadsheet that after you put in the numbers, it will give you the BTR score and the P & Y score. But it isn't done just yet.

I'm having trouble printing out the score sheet. But if your including inside spread , would a Pope & Young or Boone & Crockett score sheet be acceptable? My buddy scores everyones bucks here at work and thats what he uses.

I would think that pope and young would be sufficient. Except their won't be any deductions for different tine lengths and you will add in abnormal points.

So after he scores it, you should be able to get the BTR Score by doing a little math.

Bump!

Time to get those photo's in!

Good luck to all. We will have 4 trophies this year. One for the largest whitetail and one for the runner up. We will also have a first place for viewers choice and a runners up as well.

I have a link to an online score sheet. You just put in the numbers that it requests and it will calculate your score for you, let me know, if needed,I will post it, It is only for deer.
